I am a native Italian with Bachelor degree in Humanities, which also included studies in literature, history of art and history. - I am currently employed at Centre of Italian Studies (CIS) where I teach Italian to a wide variety of students. As a language teacher working with non-native speakers, communicating clearly, articulately and expressively is key to successfully communicating meaning. Teaching has also enabled me to develop and refine my relational skills. This is illustrated in my ability to adapt my style and method of lesson delivery to suit a wide array of learner styles and idiosyncrasies. - I enjoy being creative and utilizing new ideas and approaches to improve the learning environment for my students. I follow the Communicative Learning Teaching (Jack Richards) which helps my students to learning the language by the context. Its not just the rule, but the grammar rule in the context. Learners learn by: - interaction - collaborative creation of meaning - trying out and experimenting with different ways of saying things I do love my job and I feel privilege to have the opportunity to teach my language and my culture.
